Method: Weekly

1. Sweep the floor with broom.
2. Use the liquid soap water.
3. Scrubbed the floor with scrubbing brush with detergent.

5. Clean the floor with plan water -2 times. Again the wiping the floor.
6. Dry the floor with dry mop or dry cloth
7. At last disinfectant the floor.

How to clean Upholstered Furnituru and Equipments

Upholstered Furniture's Equipment:

1. Two clean soft duster or Soft dusting brush.
2. Upholstery brush /vacuum cleaner cane beat her.
3. Bowl of warm soapy water
4. Vinegar
5. Salt
6. Ammonia
7. Linen Cloth or Flannelette's Cloth for drying

Method
1. Remove the dust from surface.
2. Wash the surface with warm soapy water,
3. With the addition of ammonia, allowing 1/2 teaspoonful of ammonia ,to one quart of water.
4. Give a final rinsing with cold water, Vinegar and salt.
5. Dry with a soft cloth.
6. Finish drying in the open air, by a wide open.

How to Clean a Leather Furniture/Equipments

Leather Furniture 's Equipments:



1. Wax Oil or Mansion Police/ Furniture Polish
2. 2 Clean soft dusters.
3. Vacuum Cleaner.
4. Warm Soapy water/Oil/Vinegar
5. Linen Cloth or Dry Cloth


Method of Leather Furniture


1. Cloth wrung out of warm soapy water.
2. If dirty, rub with a mixture of oil and vinegar, allowing two parts of oil to one of vinegar.
3 If very dirty wash with warm soapy water. Use a soft cloth
4. Rinse thoroughly
5. Finial y dry it.

Room Mainteance Proceduse is most Important in Hotel

In hotels maintenance work is done by Engineering Department. But before the Housekeeping Department is to check or detect the places o things that requires or needs maintenance . Then it reports to the Engineering department . The Housekeeping Lodges the complaint in a maintenance order form and hands it over to the Engineering control Room. Then the Engineering Control Room gives work or deres to the concurred Mechanic, Plumber, Carpenter etc. When the concerned Mechanic, Plumber or Carpenter go to the room for maintenance, the room attendants roe is to open the door of the guest room where the maintance work is done under his/her supervision when the work is complete, then the Housekeeping Department staff sign the work order slip which means the works complete.

Tailor/Upholsterer's Duites in Hotel

Tailor/Upholsterer: Tailor/Upholsterer should be necessary in Hotel. Tailor Room must be clean and dry. The Tailors attend to the stitching and mending work of Linen and Uniforms.


1 Mend all Hotel damaged Linen.
2. Mend all Hotel damaged Uniforms
3. Refurnish all damaged Upholstery.
4. Withdraw material form the store and take to the work their place.
5 Cut the material as per requirement of each particular item.
6. To check all the quality of spring, Foam.and replace.
7. Keep the work place assigned neat and tidy.
8. Tailor/Upholstery Department must co-ordinates with Linen Room Supervisor

Cloak Room Attenadants most important in Hotel

Cloak Room Attendants: Cloak Room Attendants are boy or sometimes girl who clean and maintain in public area guest toilets. Their responsibility is the supply of clean and dry towels. Like: Bath Towels, Hand Towels, Bath Maths, Face Towels, etc.

Housemen: Housemen is a person who cleaning required in guest room and public areas. Housemen' s duties is very heavy. Like, Cleaning of windows Panes, Brassoing, Vacuuming , Sweeping etc,

Horticulturist: This person is responsible to manage hotel garden and supply Folwers Required for interior decoration . The team may be made of Head Gardener and Junior Gardener.

Room Attendants: This Department is very necessary in hotel. They work udder the Floor Supervisor. They are also called Room Maids. They do the cleaning of guest rooms and guest bathrooms. Room Attendants are responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of all hotel's rooms. Housemen help them their work.

Hat-Checkers: It is also necessary in Hotel. Hat-Checkers is a Service provide by super hotels in cold climates would carefully label these guest articles.
